Kyrgyzstan Little League
In 2007 Madison Kennedy Little League donated equipment: hats, batting helmets,
jerseys, catching gear, bats to help start a new Little League in Krygyzstan…
The country of Kyrgyzstan has never seen baseball before 2007. Now the Kyrgyz parents and kids are anticipating play again this summer in an Official League. This Little League has affected the whole nation! The President got involved, and the playoffs will be at the Olympic training field… Wow!
“It has been quite the challenge building the fields, but we have one practice field and one game field. We built batting cages in the old Soviet shooting range on the premises. You can see all the MK hats there. The kids love them! All the refs wear the Kennedy yellow jerseys and caps. All kids wear MK caps and all coaches wear MK caps and jerseys. Another team is fitted with MK jerseys as well. Thanks again Mark and please let all the Madison Kennedy Little League know how appreciative we are and all the kids. The Little League is going awesome right now!”
