We have two options for plays in Minors, Federals to attend evaluations this season.

The main option is Saturday March 18 at the La Follette High School Fieldhouse. With the high school undergoing renovations, please enter the activities entrance on the east side of the building. We will have people there to direct you to the fieldhouse.

Minors will run 8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m., Federals 9:30 a.m.-10:15 a.m. and Majors 10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m.

If your child is trying out for a higher division, they MUST attend evaluations for both the division they registered for and the division they want to play. For example, a 10-year-old trying out for Majors must attend the Federals evaluations and the Majors evaluations.

Players looking to play up MUST attend evaluations to be placed in the higher division.

Players in those divisions who can’t attend Saturday have the option to participate in evaluations on Tuesday March 21 at Frank Allis Elementary School, 4201 Buckeye Road, Madison.

We will have check-in on the stage that overlooks the gym. There isn’t a lot of extra space at Allis, so we ask that your child wait on the stage area after checking in until after the division ahead of them has cleared the gym.

Minors will run 5:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Federals 6:30 p.m.-7:15 p.m. and Majors 7:15 p.m.-8 p.m.

We ask that your child attend the March 18 evaluations unless they have a conflict. We then encourage them to attend the March 21 makeup evaluations. Every child who registered for those three divisions will be placed on a team. However, not participating in evaluations will impact when they can be drafted. This is a long-time Kennedy policy to help with the competitive balance of our teams by ensuring coaches see as many players as possible.

Players in our T-ball, BPM, 13U, 14U and softball divisions will be assigned to teams without attending evaluations.
